SENER presents the new version of FORAN and its latest ship projects at SMM Hamburg

The SENER engineering and technology group is taking part in SMM Hamburg, the most important international fair on maritime construction, machinery and technology in the naval sector, which is being held in Hamburg from 4 to 7 September.

SENER is once again present at this fair, which is held every two years and brings together the main naval builders, suppliers and ship designers from all over the world. The company has its own stand inside the Spanish pavilion, where it is showcasing its most notable capabilities in the naval sector, such as the new version of FORAN V80R2.0, the CAD/CAM/CAE system for designing and building vessels

In the ship design category, SENER has presented its latest ship projects, which include a project for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) carrier. This innovative commitment from the group was received with great interest by several ship operators, which dropped by SENER's stand to pick up information personally on this and other ship projects (ferries, tugboats, fishing vessels, etc.).

SMM Hamburg brings together more than 2,200 exhibitors and around 50,000 visitors from all over the world in a sector where SENER is a notable participant, given its 60+ years devoted to naval design and engineering, and more than 50 devoted to designing the FORAN system. Its experience confirms its standing as a leading company in offering high added-value solutions suited to the needs of the naval industry.
